Junior Come n Try days 2012

WESTGARTH   BASEBALL   CLUB

On behalf of the W.B.C. Executive Committee, we would like to encourage all families in the Northcote, Preston & Fitzroy localities to attend our “Come & Try” days on either or both of the following Saturday mornings (either side of Easter): Saturday March 31, and Saturday the 14th of April. .

Our sessions will be designed to suit the ages and skill levels of the boys and girls attending and our registered coaches include some who have represented Victoria and Australia.

Fast Facts

Time: 11.15am – 12.30pm. The planned conclusion would only vary if severe weather intervened.

Where: Merri Park ,       Cnr St Georges Rd and Sumner Avenue Northcote, the home of the Westgarth Baseball Club since 1932 !

Cost: WBC’s “Come & Try” days during March and April are FREE.

a Free show bag is available for all junior participants in WBC’s “Come & Try” days

•      Can of Soft drink or bottle of water

•       Drink Bottle (donated by Hocking Stuart our Junior program supporter)

•       WBC players cap

•       Frozen Jubilee .

Social Membership has been set at $25 for the whole 2012 season to encourage families to stay at Merri Park and watch the practice or watch senior games later in the day (commencing at Merri park in May). Social members enjoy complimentary tea & coffee at Merri Park on WBC game days.
